Biography
Dr. Mohlomi Jafta Ntsaba is has a PhD in nursing, he is the Head of Department of Nursing at Walter Sisulu University, South Africa. His interest is supervision of post graduate candidates on Community Health Nursing and Primary Health Care. His research area of interest is on Traditional circumcision and Diabetes Mellitus type 2. He presented research papers on traditional circumcision in international and local conferences. In March 2016 he was a Key note speaker in Denosa Conference addressing South African nurses on how to care for hospitalized initiates. Cultural congruent care was discussed at length with nurses in this conference. However, there is still a problem with the care of hospitalized initiates because the community does not accept women (nurses) to look after them because it is taboo for them to do so.
