Biography
Sun Kim has completed her PhD from Rutgers University and postdoctoral studies from University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. She is Associate Professor and has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals and has been conducting research studies on health disparity in tobacco control to provide culturally adapted tobacco dependence treatments for underserved populations, such as Asian immigrants in the United States and people diagnosed with mental illness and/or HIV infection. She is a recipient of the Patient-Oriented Mentored Research Career Development (K23) Award from the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA).
